TO THE FIG TREE

Beloved, say to the Fig Tree:

For the sake of my Holy name, I will restore that which has been profaned in the nations from which you came. Your enemies have seen your weakness and have laid claim to the ancient heights which I have given to you decades ago. Those around you have pressed hard against your borders, and even those who profess alliance have decried your possessions.

I will cause a reproach from those nations that surround you; from the cedars of Lebanon to Mount Seir, they will suffer my reproach.

I will multiply men to you and your people shall return from other nations. Your land shall be tilled and yield and I will restore the waste places. The whole earth shall know that these are the people of the Lord.

Remember, it is not for your sake that I act, but for the restoration of my Holy Name. I will give you a new heart and a new spirit so you may know Me. Your land shall be as the Garden of Eden and I will walk with you as I have walked with Adam in the quiet of the evening.
